October 2024 Bonsai Meeting: proper branch placement, Mame/Shohin development, Autumn activities
We had a great meeting this month with a lot of great classes. First, Jeff gave a class on proper branch placement with some very unique prop trees. Next, Steve gave a class on Mame/Shohin.
September 2024 – Kusamono Class and Grafting
For the September 2024 meet we had a Kusamono Class given by Michael and James. Kusamono is the practice of using native grass and weeds to sculpt a landscape. Les gave a great hands-on demonstration

June 2024: Bonsai wiring by Wilson
During the June 2024 club meeting we had a very nice demo on Bonsai wiring by Wilson. Steve brought in some topicals, and many people practiced wiring.
Feb. 2024 Meeting: Junipers and Mardi Gras Mambo

January 2024 Club Meeting – Soil Making
To start 2024 off right, Les gave a great class on bonsai soil making.
Holiday Party 2024, White Elephant, and Food
Incoming President Les is awarded the Bonsai Artist in Residence trophy for his achievement in bonsai art, education, and service to the club. A great time was had by all at the Holiday Party 2024.
Bonsai Photography and Bonsai Grafting
