What a great meeting. Wilson gave a great class on wiring for bonsai. He brought in the branches and the clips. A lot of learning took place.

Les brought in the proto-type for his Shishi odoshi (deer scare). These are beautiful water features that the Japanese use to scare away deer. I and several others wondered if it works for squirrels. Les will be leading a class at the July meeting on how to construct the Shishi odoshi. Part of the cost will be absorbed by the club to keep the cost low as they need a pump. We are happy that Ben is graduating, but we are sad to see him go. Good luck, Ben. You have been a great help.
